McAlpine Lake & Park is a private recreational fishing lake and campground that served some youngsters to catch their first fish and a variety of other anglers to catch certainly their largest fish. Our lake is stocked with trophy fish including trout, catfish, bass, and bluegill.  Because we are a private facility, no fishing license is required.  Click here for McAlpine Lake Fishing Rules. Adult (trout limit 5 lbs.**)	$20.00
Youth (trout limit 3 lbs.**)	$15.00
Day Use (no fishing)	$10.00

All fish, except trout, are catch and release only. There is no catch and release of trout.

*ages 3 and under, Day Use is FREE!

** $5.00 per pound over limit

For anglers of all ages, McAlpine Lake & Park is pleased to announce our new "Sure Catch" area. This is a small pond separate from the lake stocked year-round with a high concentration of fish allowing for greater fishing success.

Fly Fishing Lessons and Fly Club

Learn to fly fish at McAlpine Lake & Park!  Lessons are available with fly fishing instructor Jody McAlpine.  For $50 you get two 1-hour lessons, fly pole and tackle rental, and catch and release use of McAlpine Lake & Park.  Call (831) 623-4263 to reserve your lesson today!

Derbies

And, as always, McAlpine Lake & Park is host to many derbies and contests for anglers of all ages with 1st ($500), 2nd (Derby Pass), and 3rd (Adult Fishing Pass) place prizes.  The winners name will go on a McAlpine Lake Derby Winner plaque that will be hung in the General Store for years to come.
